What’s an alternative wedding planner?

Simply put, we’re not putting you in any sort of box. My ideal clients are the couples that do not want to have a boring wedding. It’s so simple – you’ve seen loads of weddings that seem like a repeat of each other, and you’re not looking for a traditional wedding.

You’re looking for someone you can trust, and who can be a friend to you throughout the planning process. Someone who won’t bullshit you, and who gets just as excited about the little details as you do.

I deeply care about your day going as smoothly as possible, and offer a personalized approach, support ditching “the rules”, and focus on what you and your partner want.

And yes, that’s my real name!

Some more fun things about me: I’m a Type-A Sagittarius, I’m known to be sarcastic, game for anything, and loyal to the core. Think April Ludgate in the later years of Parks and Recreation.

How I got here starts in my high school’s theatre production of Cinderella. After a horribly botched audition (come to find out, in front of an audience is not the time to find out you can’t sing the high notes), I was placed in theatre tech and fell in absolute love. So much so, I ended up going to college for costume design (though life sent me on a decade-long marketing career, instead) - no wardrobe malfunctions are happening on my watch!

While I’m notoriously the planner in my friend group, I take my organization skills very seriously. I went from the corporate events world to the wedding industry with a head-first approach.

After being employed by leading local wedding planners and florists, I’ve gathered all my know how into Aisle Host. My first year in the industry I was a part of over 20 weddings, and I have no plans of slowing down.

I can’t wait to be your wedding day bestie, and for you to meet my 3 ft. tall emergency kit, Crysta (any other FernGully fans out there?).

It’s a Vibe Thing

My Love Story

I met my husband through Bumble and we have been inseparable since the day we met. He planned our first date to watch Willy’s Wonderland, and while we’re still watching arguably crappy movies, our love is anything but.
Fun fact: We eloped in Vegas and had our wedding with friends & family on our 1 year anniversary! I even made my elopement dress.

These are my two favorite old men, and are most likely snoring away as I work on your wedding timeline.
Dancing Queen

I’ve been a dancer my whole life in one way or the other. So when I learned about West Coast Swing, I asked my husband if he’d try a class with me.
Years later, we’re still going at it together. Dance parties in the kitchen are a real thing in our home.
